Our fifth cake on Saturday was at the Boys and Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis.
Annie Malone
There were two playgrounds in sight. Holly was MAD that I wouldn't let her play. "I LOVE playgrounds!" she said. I told her that she needed to actually live in this neighborhood to be able to play here. The area is just not to stay and play in. And besides, it was starting to get hot!
Our next stop was Sumner High School. There are so many famous African-Americans who went to school here! Just look at the cake! I really love how the artist used high school yearbook photos to decorate parts of the cake. It's very nicely done.
The last cake in this partial post is Fairgrounds Park.
I like this zoo-themed cake, but was surprised to see that the animals are done with a Sharpie marker. To each artist his medium, I suppose. Holly said it looks like the artist was scribbling. (Smile!)
